Wounded Nature-Working Veterans initiated this cleanup of the Daniel Island Tidal Marsh. The following pictures show the amount of debris collected by a hearty bunch of volunteers who were willing to get wet and dirty from the time they stepped off the boats into the tidal marsh. All of this debris was transported back to a dumpster by boat. The wood was wet and the tires were full of mud. Everyone got some fresh air and plenty of exercise. We were only able to do a small section of this tidal marsh due to the volume of debris in the area we cleaned.
