Wounded Nature-Working Veterans and Partners Ensure Folly River Boat Ramp Cleared of Abandoned Vessels

On August 17th, 2021 the last two remaining abandoned vessels were removed from the Folly River near the public boat ramp. After a multi-year effort, the waterway next to the Folly ramp is clear of abandoned/derelict vessels thanks to the persistence of Folly Beach Public Safety.

Wounded Nature–Working Veterans partnered with the Town of Folly Beach to complete the removal of the last two vessels. Special thanks to Folly Beach Public Safety, Folly Beach Public Works, Limehouse Cranes, Cape Romain Contractors, and Peter Hamm for the haul-out and demolition. Great teamwork by all!
